Effectiveness of Exercise and Manual Therapy as Treatment for Patients with Migraine, Tension-Type Headache or Cervicogenic Headache: An Umbrella and Mapping Review with Meta-Meta-Analysis

The aim of the study was to perform a mapping and umbrella review with meta-meta-analysis (MMA) synthesise critically evaluate effectiveness manual therapy (MT) aerobic exercise (AE) in relation pain intensity, frequency, disability quality life patients migraines, tension-type headaches (TTH) cervicogenic (CGH). A systematic search conducted PubMed, PEDro, Scielo Google Scholar up December 2020. total 18 articles met inclusion criteria, only 8 were included quantitative analysis. MMA showed results favour interventions terms intensity migraine, TTH CCH. Data also intervention frequency migraine TTH. However, there no significant effects on CGH. moderate evidence suggest that AE reduces migraine. In addition, MT or mixed (including therapeutic exercise) reducing
